For making thread shanks. For turning points.Instructions:To Attach Buttons - Sew button loosely, one time. Place gauge between fabric and button, slipping thread into slot. Use slot on pointed end for medium weight fabrics and slot on flat end for heavy weight fabrics. Sew button several times. Remove gauge and bring thread up between button and fabric. Wind thread firmly around stitches under button. Bring thread to back and secure. To Turn Points of Collars, Lapels, Cuff, Pockets & Belts: Stitch, trim and grade seam allowances. Turn to right side, inset pointed end into corner and gently push out corner.

Push bodkin through center of tubing, gradually turning tubing to inside. Remove bodkin after tube is completely turned. ELASTIC - Insert elastic into eye of bodkin. Slide bodkin (ball point end first) through casing, stitch ends of elastic to secure. TIP - Pin loose end of elastic to avoid pulling through casing. RIBBON WEAVING - Insert ribbon into eye of bodkin. Use ball point to weave ribbon through trim or eyelets.

Quick Turn - 3/16" cylinder for 3/8" to 5/8" fabric tubes - 3/8" cylinder for 3/4" to 1" fabric tubes - 1/2" cylinder for 1" or large fabric tubes.
Instructions: 1.Stitch fabric tube, trim seams. 2.Select appropriate size cylinder. Slide cylinder into fabric tube until it is at sewn end (A). 3.With round end of corresponding rod(either end of metal rod) push fabric end into the cylinder while sliding fabric tube over cylinder. TIP - If tube will be pressed flat, spread seam allowances open as tube slides into cylinder. Continue until turned tube end comes out of the cylinder (B). TIP - It may be necessary to gather up fabric tube on cylinder to see turned end. 4.Pull on fabric end until entire tube comes out of the cylinder (C). Rod will remain in the fabric tube. 5.Use rod to push out corners. If necessary, turn around rod and use pointed end in corners. Remove rod when finished. For opened end tubes, slide cylinder to about 1" from end of fabric tube. Fold fabric end over cylinder and continue with above instructions. Contains sharp tools. Keep out of reach of children.
